Bio

I am someone with a visual impairment and newly acquired hearing impairment. I live with a ‘can do’ attitude, I try to help others where ever I can.

I am a guide dog owner who has a very ‘have dog will travel’ attitude to life, if there is a train or a bus that can get me close then I am on it!

I enjoy rock climbing, a world that has made me some amazing friends, some with and some without disabilities. In 2016 & 2017 I competed in The BMC Paraclimbing series.

I have recently taken up tandem riding too.

I like to share with others my life as a VI through my blog www.seemyway.co.uk where I always write from my heart. With the added mix of humour and sarcasm too.

I am trying to improve myself and help even more people through talks, disability awareness and my social media platforms.

I have been called inspirational, this isn’t something I have tried to be. I am just me, trying to make the world a little more accessible and accepting.

Thank you for taking her time to read my profile xx
